Alla detaljer osv är inte klara men här är min impression av ett befäl i Byzantiska väringagardet ca år 1000...

Vi tränar med hårda skumvapen och smäller på varandra rätt hårt, så därför är vapnena inte riktiga och skölden är mjukt kantad för att vapnena inte ska gå sönder... Dräkten är inte heller färdig helt utan en del detaljer saknas ännu...

Close-up på mig i min hjälm som skall bli någotsånär okej folkvandringstida spangen för bruk som herul/romare.
Fuskblåneringen skall sandpappras bort, för övrigt.

Här från sidan. Kind och nackskydden skall formas till bättre så de inte skaver och funkar som de ska.
