Jag vill bygga en replika av en sköld, helst en drake(kite) så nära 1291 jag kan komma.

Så jag söker tips på överlevande exemplar var material och konstruktionsmetoder man rimligen kan plausibelt reproducera.

Jag söker även så mycket tips och råd om kläder, rustning, vapen, hygienartiklar, tält, bestick glas, tallrikar etc. som möjligt.

HUr rakade man sig 1291? frisyr?

Så: allt relevant material ni känner till är intressant :-)

Du vill med andra ord veta allt som finns att veta om år 1291? Eller, nej förresten, bara det som är relevant.

Jag förstår frågan om skölden, även om jag inte har kunskaperna att besvara den. Men för att kunna bidra med "relevant material" underlättar det om man vet vad det ska vara relevant för, alltså vad du ska ha det till. Fundera på om du ska ställa mer detaljerade frågor om kläder, hygienartiklar, frisyrer m.m. i egna trådar. Det är ofta lättare att svara på en konkret fråga.

Känner någon till en överlevande sköld?

HUr rakade man sig? eller snarare, vilka rakverktyg använde man och vilken ansiktsbehåring var vanligast, främst inom de högre stånden?
