Under drygt 4 år så har arkeologer och historiker arbetat med ett projekt kring slaget vid Bosworth 1485. Huvudmålet har varit att en gång för alla reda ut de olika teorier som finns om vart slaget utkämpades. Under den omfattande slagfältsundersökningen så har man gjort små men viktiga fynd inklusive den största samling kanonkulor som återfunnits på ett medeltida slagfält.
Imorgon lördagen den 20:e så hålls en konferens om vad man kommit fram till. Föredragshållarna innehåller några av de främsta historikerna inom medeltida krigföring så som Anne Curry och Matthew Strickland och ämnena som tas upp ser minst sagt intressantat ut.

A conference to announce the true location of England's most famous lost
battlefield.
A panel of leading experts in battlefield archaeology and military history,
introduced by Professor Richard Holmes, will discuss the results of the
major new archaeological study which proves where the battle was fought.
This will be the first public viewing of important finds not previously
announced as well as the largest collection of roundshot fired from
artillery on any medieval battlefield in Europe.
