Är det någon som har byggt vidare på Oakshott´s typologi eller tog han sitt arbete med sig i graven? Vore intressant om den kunde vidareutvecklades till att innefatta alla svärdstyper och inte bara de medeltida raka modellerna.

Inte vad jag känner till, men jag kan tänka mig att Oakshott Institute är rätt ställe att hålla koll på framöver. Förr eller senare kommer säkert någon akademiker att ta tag i det.

Finns det något system för eneggade svärd typ hiebmesser, långsaxar, falchions och egglösa svärd typ estoc? :/

Inte vad jag känner till. Oakshott nämner att de förtjänar ett helt eget system, men jag har inte sett till något. Jag skulle kunna tänka mig att estocen klassificeras enligt Oakshott, men jag vågar inte säga vilken typ det skulle vara (skulle tippa på en undergrupp till XVIII).
