Frågan är väl hur kunde en typisk testikel dolk se ut på 1400-talet i Sverige? Skulle de två sista dolkarna kunna passa in på 14oo-talet eller är de enbart 1300? Klart det beror på vilken klass man ska föreställa, men en lite enklare dolk. Det verkar finnas en hel del fynd av dessa enkla trähandtag, ett par daterade till 1300-tal men många bara till medeltid.

"Knives and Scabbards" av Egan har jag. Den innehåller en väldig massa ätknivar, men inga dolkar.

Jag ska spana in Scholar's Bookshelf och se om jag kan hitta nått där, tack för tipset.

Jag har redan Googlat, "ballock dagger", "bollock dagger", "kidney dagger", och hittat en del bilder men inte så mycket som jag hade hoppats på.
Det jag letar efter är om det finns bra böcker om testikeldolkar, kanske lite historia och även hur de har ändrats under de 3-400 år som de var populära.
Kanske även om det går att säga nått om olika regionala stilar.

Om du kör någon senare Windowsvariant kan det hända att du kommit åt tangentbordsinställningen som finns i listan bland alla aktiva program, bredvid klockan. En liten grå ruta med vit text, EN, SV, m.m. Där kan du enkelt ändra tangentbordsinställning med ett musklick och du behöver inte starta om datorn heller.

I Bergen er det funnet flere blader og skaft til testikkeldolker (balledolk som vi kaller det), alle med usikker datering, men på britiske effigier forekommer de fra ca. 1280 årene og framover. Tidlige versjoner er avbildet i (den aldri sviktende) Manessa Codex og på Martinis avbildning av St. Martins ridderslag.

Väskorna är det svårare att säga någonting om eftersom kvinnorna bär dessa under sin surcot, men njurformen hänger helt klart ihop med mansdräkten. Därmed inte sagt att inte samma väsktyp även användes av kvinnor.
