Du kommer inte att kunna ställa upp i träbågetävlingar med den du länkade till. En historisk långbåge har förståss ingen glasfiber, det är helt onödigt på en välbyggd båge, den är antagligen inte laminerad (även om det förekom i enstaka fall, tex samiska bågar samt renessans-långbågar). En välbygd historiska båge har samma prestanda som en typisk glasfiberbåge.

Vidare har en historisk båge ingen pilhylla, utan man skjuter från handen. Jag skjuter själv så och kan gott hävda mig på tävlingar mot folk med glasfiberlaminerade bågar som har pilhylla osv.

Annars kan du förståss bygga en själv. I och med att du skjutit med Sturarna så kanske du träffar på Johan Holst där (Skäggig kille med långt hår i dreadlocks) Han skjuter en långbåge av idegran som jag byggt, men han har även byggt en båge själv, desamma har Anja Hallberg som skjuter en liten laminerad långbåge och som håller på att bygga sin andra båge just nu. Det finns massor av folk som håller kurser, alla som jag länkat tillovanför gör det i allafall.

Den skall som sagt mest användas för målskytte. Senaste jag körde var en 40# samick har jag för mig. Den var lite i svagaste laget för mig. Andra tips mottages ocskå tacksamt.
