Filmen går tydligen att hyra från Västerbottens museum. http://www.vasterbottensmuseum.se/pdf/hyrfilmer.pdf
Jag spelade in filmen på VHS 1988, och kvaliten är inte den bästa.
Så jag funderar själv på att försöka hyra eller köpa filmen från museet.

Hoppas att det kan vara till någon nytta.

Forntida teknik brukar finnas att få tag på genom bibliotek, men tidiga årgångar kan vara utrensade. Jag köpte mina på Hultsfreds kommunbiblioteks utrensning för en krona per nummer någon gång på nittiotalet.

Tag en lagom stor björk och en yxa.
Klyv björken och tälj ned ytsidan tills den har lagom bredd för skidan.
Låt dessa två plankor torka.
Tälj ned på kärnsidan tills endast skidan återstår.
Basa en snygg böj i toppen.
Färdigt.

(Hyvla lite om du inte lyckas tälja tillräckligt bra med yxan)

Sök på Libris och skidor under atkeologi (J) så ska du få upp 18 träffar.

Jag har sett hans skidor o de är riktigt fräna, gör dem i gran med inslag av björk. Glidytan ibland i ask. Sen har han ett antal modeller gjorda efter skidfyndet i Kalvträsk med läderbinningar.

Just nu är jag i informationssamlingsfasen av tillverkandet och jag undrar vad folk sitter inne med för information om medeltida skidor.

Tiden är 1360-90, men eftersom materialet är lite skralt så tar vi allt vi hittar om skidor under järnålder.

En del har jag redan, tex. från medeltidens ABC (men dem skall man inte lita på tillfullo...) Bilder är helt klart av intresse.
