Nu har allt fallit på plats. Det blir några timmar i smedjan i mellandagarna. Det lustiga i sammanhanget; Nyckeln som du hänvisade till i SHM:s Databas gjöt jag upp några stycken för ett par veckor sedan i brons, jag behöver alltså bara ändra litet i förlagan för att få det att stämma. Jag har skickat en halvbra men fullt förståelig bild på mekanismen till den adress du angav ovan.
Generellt så fungerar låset så att nyckeln sätts i vertikalt, vrids ett kvarts varv åt vänster varvid axet passas in i de korsformiga styrhålen i mitten av mekanismen så att klorna trycker upp fjäderns två tungor så att de kan passera över stoppet. Därefter dras nyckeln åt höger - fortfarande i samma position - varvid hela den inre regeln förflyttas åt höger så att öglorna i lockets överfall frigörs och locket kan öppnas.

-Övriga forumiter får ge sig till tåls, bilden duger som grundläggande information men jag tänker inte lägga upp den på min sida - jag återkommer när jag passerat en bra scanner...

Jag får be att återkomma med en bild på mekanismen under kvällen, men generellt så är mästermyrskistans lås ett enkelt draglås med fjädermekanism.
Nyckeln bör ha liknat den [url="http://www.historiska.se/collections/mis/sok/bild.asp?uid=28919"]här[/url], bara större och med tre korsformiga klor istället för runda.

Bilderna är stora med god upplösning.
