En lite (!) tidigare källa är Nordisk familjebok från 1911, som nämner koklådor halvvägs ner i [url="http://runeberg.org/nfbn/0274.html"]spalt 499[/url]. Texten ger mig känslan av att det då var en ganska ny grej. Koklådor känns som ett kristidspåhitt snarare än ett fenomen från gamla fattigsverige, tycker jag... ;-)

Jag blev lite nyfiken på om någon har hört om några tidigare referenser på detta.
Principen för hölådan är att man kokar upp maten (det verkar bara vara grytor och soppor det handlar om) och sedan ställer ner grytan i lådan som är isolerad med hö för att hålla värmen. Maten får sedan stå och självlaga sig tills den är färdig. Det tar lite längre tid, men å andra sidan sparar man bränsle.
Någon som hört om detta från tidigare källor?
