Upplevelsen var mycket trevlig och konstig, eftersom jag kände igen dialog och händelser från något ställe men jag kunde inte komma på varifrån. När det till slut gick upp för mig att jag hade böckerna i bokhyllan kastade jag mig snabbt över dom.

Först läste jag Ibn Fadlan, och såg om filmen. Sen läste jag Beowulf och såg om filmen en gång till. Sen har jag tittat på filmen om och om igen.

Den följer originalhandlingen i böckerna väldigt väl. Om man då tycker att filmen är dåligt så vet jag inte hur man är funtat, för det är en av de häftigaste filmerna av dom alla. Beowulf & Grylen får en högst trolig/möjlig förklaring i filmen.

Mitt tips - läs Beowulf innan du ser den. Läs *inte* Ibn Fadlan. Släpp plugghästbiten och bara känn istället. Någon bättre Beowulf finns inte på film, och *det* är stor epik, alldeles för stor för att vara ofilmad.

Har bara läst någon enstaka bok av Crichton, men där var han i alla fall hyggligt påläst. (Det var inom ett område där jag har tillräcklig kunskap för att kunna avgöra det.)

Han namnger också flera forskare som skrivit i ämnet. Så om någon vill kontrollera detta så ska det inte vara så svårt. Jag har dock inte hunnit göra ännu.
