-Nja, det var mest i stil med att de minsan bara översatt orginalet och om jag trots allt ville gå vidare med mina löjliga klagomål så borde jag kontakta upphovsmännen. Sedan gjorde Hr Sjölander ett försök att vara spydig - han ifrågasatte om "bill" verkligen kunde användas på översättning av spjutyxa (de som får mail av mig får även en liten passage ur Njalsaga - på engelska för enkelhetens skull). Jag upplyste honom naturligtvis - i samma spydiga stil som han trakterat, som man ropar osv - att det inte existerar någonting som heter "spjutyxa" annat än i svenska översättningar (Gunnar har en atgeir - vad det motsvarar vet man inte riktigt) och att "bill" ofta används om huggspjut/motsvarande i engelska saga-översättningar. Avslutningsvis bad jag honom läsa mitt ursprungliga mail en gång till - han hade uppenbarligen missat merparten vid sin första genomläsning...

Om inte Jan Danielsson varit avliden så kunde de alltid ha tagit in honom som motorexpert i "Trafikmagasinet" - lite samma sak känns det allt som...

Det som är riktigt otrevligt och som fått det att ta riktigt hus i h-t inom landet Akademia är den sista lilla harrangen i eftertexterna att programmet skulle "kompletera" högskolornas utbildning i arkeologi! -Nog för att vi ibland anklagas för historieförfalskning - men det här är smaklöst - det är historieförfalskning i sin prydno!

Kim Siddorn - en av ledarna för [url="http://www.regia.org/"]Regia Anglorum[/url] och författare till den, i vart fall bitvis, läsvärda boken [url="http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0752414194/bokfyndnu0e/026-0071711-9529202"]Viking Weapons & Warfare[/url]. - Scenen spelades fö in för tre år sedan, så serien är inte direkt purfärsk.
