Säkert inte, men det är ju som sagt mest härbren. Äldsta huset på gammelgården är ett eldhus vilket är ganska skoj. Många gamla sådana har ju blivit degraderade till exempelvis stall och sedan gått åt.

Älvdalen har väl ett kyrkhärbre från 1200-talet? I Rättvik finns en massa gamla kyrkstallar kvar också. De kanske har äldre anor än vad man tror..?

Tiondehärbret i Älvdalen var väl om jag inte fått det om bakfoten Sveriges äldsta daterade timmerbyggnad (från 1280-talet)innan den nu överträffades av eldhuset. Många hus har ju f.ö. byggts om och innehåller en mycket äldre kärna än vad utsidan kanske skvallrar om.

Och de som följer Anders Lindkvists råd att åka till Zorngårdens trädgård kan väl lika gärna kika in i huset också. Farbror Zorn samlade nämligen på allt. Det finns några medeltida prylar därinne också även om de är omringade av nationalromantism.
