Hon blev intervjuad i radio Uppland om lurar i går också. Det var i Uppland Direkt kl 15, men det vet jag inte om man kan få fram på Intenet.

Nu måste jag leta gran! Och björk efter kylan!
Annars har jag gjort en rekonstruktion av en flöjt från medeltiden av ene. Sedan kom jag på att jag är ju helt omusikalisk.. Jag gav bort den till en kompis med löfte att få låna när jag ställer ut och så. Men en lur kan jag ju bara tuta i[:D]

Det är både enklare tillverka och lite mindre turistvarning på oklädda trälurar tätade med beck eller tjära. Luktar gott gör de också! Låter mistlur dock. En i besättningen på en båt vi seglade med sa att hon fick en vision av skepp i sjönöd utom all räddning då vi blåste i lurarna.

Eftersom man inte gör ren och skär reklam på ett diskussionsforum, vill jag också nämna att min läromästare Rune Selén i Alunda (norra Uppland) har tillverkat ca 11 000 lurar, och tillverkar fortfarande! Hans lurar kan man köpa av honom eller på hemslöjden i Mora. Billigare än mina, men inte lika bra att spela på enligt de som har provat båda.

Om man har tänkt att spela på luren är ca 135 cm en bra längd (Bb dur). Det är också roligt att ha en längre, men det är bökigt att transportera ett instrument som är 2 meter långt.
