Om blått och rött går bra på vikingakläder hur är det då med lila??Jag har nämligen hittat ett väldigt vackert garn i 100% silke i en otroligt vacker lila nyans...
Skulle vilja väva brickband av det men är inte säker på om lila är korrekt för vikingatid??

Det finns fynd av sk "lavlila" från vikingatid, se sidan 9 av den superlånga tråden "Linne i olika färger". Där talas det en hel del om lila färg på ylle mest, men även silke.

3. Blåa (Kommer ej ihåg mängd, tror det var 45st)
Sist kom grön och svart, och jag misstänker att en del av de svarta egentligen är bruna.

Detta ändras ju dock lite om man förflyttar sig till sverige. Jag kan tänka mig att man i så fall bör byta plats på blå och röd.
Nu är detta förvisso inte den bästa av källor, men den ger en ungefär uppfattning i alla fall.
Jag har inte räknat med de färger som verkar ha blekts från en färg till en annan (Svart som blekts till mörkblå, t.ex.) och andra oklara kjortlar, samt vissa kyrkliga dräkter.
