Då började jag fundera för jag har bestämt för mig att någon lärt mig att färgen blått och purpur var dyr "högreståndsfärg" under medeltiden. Nu blir det kanske inte klarblått eller purpur av blåbär men det blir åt lilahållet då man färgar tyg.
Frågan är alltså varför var blått "fint", färgade man inte med blåbär och om man gjorde det borde inte varenda kotte ha blå kläder?

]]> 2004-04-15T10:59:50+01:00 2004-04-15T10:59:50+01:00 https://historiskavarldar.se/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1299&p=11124#p11124 <![CDATA[Färga siden?]]> men skulle nog undvika maskin. har färgat ull med gott resultat i maskin, blir lite filtad och mer kompakt känsla av tyget. bra ibland mindre lycket ibland. det svåraste med maskin är att man har noll kontroll på färgningen och det är svårt att styra nyanser och färg... en ren chansning helt enkelt. lite spänning i vardagen är visserligen rätt kul, men ibland har man blivit besviken, oftast för att färgen inte "tar" och man inte får den trevliga nyans som provlappen fick på spisen... (när man för fjärde gången stoppar inte tyget i maskinen och man fortfarande inte är nöjd när det kommer ut blir man lite tjuring när man inser att man slängt ut nästan 500:- på färg till föga nytta :(

har aldrig testat sidenmålningsfärg, det skall jag nog göra nångång. verkar ju smidigt!
tror ni den kan funka på ull också?

(allfärgen funkar också bra att måla med på ull, bra som bottenfärger i olika fält när man skall brodera täckande. flyter ut lite, men inte så mycket om man är försiktig)
nitorfärgen i gelform funkar dåligt på ull och siden, ett annat dyrt misstag jag gjorde när jag inte läste ordentligt på förpackningen innan...

Kan jag använda sån där vanlig textilfärg som man köper på Konsum, eller förstör jag tyget då?
