Ja, jag antar att man kan titta där. Frågan är hur mycket man får upp, men det är ju värt en titt.

Och fickslitsar för män innan 1350. Tjaha, that's life, tills vidare får jag anta att det inte förekom så frekvent (om inte annat så lär ju det faktum att det inte syns betyda att det inte var vanligt). Det är lite svårt att se dock... Det förutsätter att någon kör ner handen i fickslitsen, annars kan den lika gärna ligga i ett veck... Man ser ju streck lite då och då som kan vara slitsar men precis lika gärna kan vara veck. Ingen bra grund att dra slutsatser från... [xx(]

Men jag är fortfarande lite fundersam angående fickslitsarna. Jag står i begrepp att sy en gardecorps, och det känns hyfsat opraktiskt att behöva rota under kjoldelen för att nå diverse pungar och sånt...

Bara för att avsluta knappdelen, är det nån som har sett knappar användas i ärmar innan tidigt 1300-tal (dvs. under 1200-talet)? Bara som en sista trevare.

Knappar i ärmarna kanske vore nåt att pröva på en dräkt som ligger mer på tidigt 1300-tal än sent 1200-tal. Om inte annat för att pröva en ny grej...

Bandkantning trodde jag var ganska uteslutet också. Dock har jag bestämt att pröva bricksyning, som faktiskt finns på det äldsta fragmentet från Herjolfsnes, den som felaktigt kallas Rönbjerg. Den ska ligga på runt 1280.

Och fickslitsarna... Jag misstänkte det. Jag har inte samvete att göra det utan referens dock. Även om det vore kul att pröva. Stog nåt i Medieval Tailor's Assistant om fickslitsar, inte före 1250. Men jag brukar vilja ha originalbilder, annars blir det oftast inte rätt. Jag har en känsla av att den ena av de där länkarna kommer vara mig till enormt mycket hjälp! Tack Halvor, jag tror att du har fyllt ett stort hål i mitt bildmaterial.

Jag har faktiskt funderat kring Kongshirden. Dock vet jag inte om det skulle finnas intresse nog för att starta en bohuslänsk grupp (vet inte heller riktigt hur det fungerar med de olika Kongshirden-grupperna.) Är rädd för att det bara skulle bli jag, men jag hoppas jag har fel [:D]. Folk brukar få för sig att skiftet tolv/trettonhundratal är ointressant, men det är fel... [:(!]

Du er kanskje ikke norsk idag, men du må gjerne melde deg inn i Kongshirden 1308 eller starte noe liknende for Bohuslän.

Når det gjelder draktdetaljer finnes det flere gode kilder fra norge, men også fra tyskland og england. Fremst blant disse er de såkalte antemensalene og alterfrontalene. I de norske stavkirkene var disse bemalt med scener fra bibelen og dermed å regne som ellos-katalogen for 12-1300-tall. Noen av disse bildene kan finnes på

Vi pleier å si at knapper på ermene er fint, så lenge de ikke går for langt opp på underarmen. Lommeslisser på menn er temmelig skjelden før 1350. Båndkanting er også ganske skjelden. Det finnes her og der i manessa, men det er vanskelig å si hva det er.

Beltebeslag er derimot vanligere. Et klassisk eksempel er statuen av Eckehard fra kanskje 1270.
