Saken är den, att det står olika om tex dräkten ifråga i olika böcker under samma tidsperiod.<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

Ibland beror det på att böckerna är mer eller mindre välefterforskade, men ofta är det så att det finns väldigt mycket osäkerheter inom dräktforskningen och att vissa saker helt enkelt inte har säkra svar.

Forskare lägger fram sina tolkningsförslag utifrån de källor som finns och kanske i synnerhet då de källor de själva har <i>tillgång</i> till. Man får lov att försöka värdera det de skriver, titta på deras källhänvisningar och på så sätt avgöra vad som verkar mest sant! Använder de sig av förstahandskällor (bevarade plagg från tiden i fråga eller liknande), andrahandskällor (samtida beskrivningar av plagg, avbildningar) eller refererar de något som någon annan har skrivit i modern tid och i så fall, hur väl underbyggd är den källan?

Därför är det bra om du som Anna-Carin skriver berättar vilka källor du använder dig av och var de säger emot varandra. Sannolikheten är stor att tillräckligt många här på forumet har läst en eller flera av de böcker du har och kan göra en jämförelse utan att behöva gräva ned sig allt för mycket!

Under Kulturer -> Forskning finns det en tråd [url="http://www.historiska.se/histvarld/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=706"]Vilka dräktböcker rekomenderas?[/url] där det står om en del böcker. Sen tror jag att om du ställer frågor typ "Bok A skriver att [...], men bok B påstår att [...], vilket är rätt?" så kommer du nog att få bra mycket mer svar, helt enkelt för att det märks att du verkligen har försökt sätta dig in i frågan. [:)]

Jag har följt det här forumet ett år eller mer nu bara för att man får läsa så mycket intressant, och jag tycker verkligen att det du hört om att det finns många kunniga här stämmer!

Båda Historiska museet och Medeltidsmuseet var tyvärr inte inriktade på dessa frågor utan var speciallicerade på levnadsätt och arkitektur.

Det jag funderar på är om möjligen Dramatern vet något om det här och ska fösöka komma i kontkakt med de idag.
Annars har jag kommit över The medieval tailors assistant där detta står. Men jag vill järna jämföra med vad andra säger för att få lite mer kött på benen så att säga.

(Observera att medeltiden höll på länge och utvecklades mycket bara under 100 år. Den period jag är mest intresserad av då det gäller mina frågor är 1100-1300-talet, men tar även emot information om tidigare tider.)

- Vilka tyger använde man sig av under medeltiden?
- Vilka färger använde man sig av och hur kombinerade man de till kläderna?
- Beroende av vilken klass man befnn sig i, vilka kläder bar man och i vilken färg?
- Vilka delar bestod kvinnodräkten av under denna tid?
