Låt osss säga så här: Jag ska disputera först, och sen finns det ju så mycket coolt tidigt 1300-tal och 1500-tal som jag inte gjort än. Men det finns en [url="http://web.comhem.se/~u41200125/bilder/polishmushroomhat.jpg"]polsk svamphatt[/url] som bär mitt namn [:)].

Den där hatten ser riktigt fin ut. Lustigt nog sitter det ju även här en herre i gul dräkt med rakat huvud bredvid damen med hatten. Nu måste det här med män med rakade huvuden i gula kläder redas ut. Jag återkommer när jag hittat mer information.[:)]

Det flesta bilder jag har sett med fotlösa hosor är precis som du säger på bönder men även på soldater. Med den anledningen postade jag ovan bild vilken skiljer sig. Det är säkerligen en status symbol. Under denna tid så var det ju även vanligt att de högre stånden bar skor med utskurna mönster på ovansidan typ som Pontius Pilatus har på bilden eller ett par nätta patinor utan skor för att visa fotdelen på hosan.

Det finns fler status "tell-tails" på bilden förutom den fotlösa hosan. Han bär inte mössa,har rakat huvud, han står på knä. Vidare så är det säkerligen så att den gula klädnaden symboliserar att de är av judisk börd. De pekar ju även alla på han svart, troligtivs Barrabas.

När sätter du igång med 1400talet?

Tack, tack. I stand corrected. Ja, jag skrev inte att de inte hade fot, jag skrev bara att de rekonstruktioner jag hade sett (och för tillfället kunde påminna mig) hade fot. Har dock inte koll på exakt alla mönster som finns.

Pernilla: I alla fall Handelsgillets mönster för 1400-tals hosor saknar fötter och jag har svårt att tänka mig att de har tagit det helt ur luften. Dessutom vet jag att det är vanligt att reenactare av 1400-talet har fotlösa hosor. Vilket jag också hoppas att de stöder på något mer än bekvämlighet... *ler*

Todd: Tack så mycket. Ska fotlapparna då vara i ylle eller linne? Varierar kanske med årstid?

Fotlappar eller barfota. Själv använder jag fotlappar då dessa är bekväma att tvätta under varma event, då är det även enkelt att fläkta bort tåbiran[;)].

(I alla fall det intryck jag fått av mönster och vissa rekonstruktioner)
Börjar herrarna då använda något sorts strumpor? Och i så fall vad? Sydda, nålbundna eller vad? Material? Eller gick de helt enkelt barfota?

Någon som har svar på detta? Eller bara allmänna tankar om frågan?
