Om du vill ha mönster till en klänning (kjortel, cothardie, eller vad man väljer att kalla den) rekommenderar jag "Medieval tailors assistant" av Sarah Thursfield eller Handelsgillets mönster PM6 (fast förläng den så att den når golvet) eller PM18. http://handelsgillet.se/monster.htm

En annan trevlig bok är "Drottning Margaretas gyllene kjortel" av Agnes Geijer m.fl. Den innehåller en grundkunskap om det medeltida dräktskicket och flera avritnigar av bevarade klänningar (förutom ingående analyser av tyget i margaretaklänningen och annat nördigt). Finns hos Handelsgillet eller ditt bibliotek.

Kul med någon ny som syr och som vill göra rätt från början. Rapportera gärna hur det går.
