Annars så var det väldigt vanligt med att man använde sig av 3-5 knappar på vänster axel.

Kunde knäppningen sitta framtill? http://www.medievaldesign.com/farsetti/XIV.jpg Medieval desig här använder sig av det. Är lite nyfiken på det, någon som har stött på något om det?

Hur använder man snören som spänne. Syr man bara fast två snörstumpar på vardera sida och knyter ihop dem eller gör jag en ögla på ena sidan och någon sorts knapp på andra?

Her er informationerne for de trykte specialer og småtryk fra Middelalder og rennæssancearkæologi her i Danmark. Der er flere som er spændende, bl.a den med tekstilredskaber, klædeplomber og så ikke mindst træbordtøj. Ydermere så arbejder de på at få udgivet et speciale om senmiddelalderens pladerustning. Men det er nok først om et års tid eller lignende.

Jag vill gärna köpa specialet. Vet du om det finns andra specialarbeten av intresse för re-enactors? Just studentuppsatser/dissertationer/specialarbeten är ju hemskt svåra att ha koll på om man inte är anknuten till en bra institution.

Og det lyder meget rigtigt med "lavede" huller, snørrehuller, hvor man kan fæste spændet i. Har fundet ud af med mine ringspænder, at det er meget svært at sætte spændet i, da der ikke kan komme så meget stof gennem det lille hul. Deslige er der fare for at ødelægge stoffet og spændet hvis man er for voldsom. Blev helt glad da i sagde at der var fundet arkæologiske spor efter en sådan anordning. Dejligt [:)]

Men hvis der er nogen som er interesseret i at købe specialet, så kan jeg skaffe jer de informationer som behøves. Tegningerne i kataloget er så gode at man ville kunne lave kopier ud fra dem. Deruover er der ved hvert spænde lavet litteraturhenvisninger så man kan finde evt. littaratur om det enkelte spænde.
