Jag tycker att sådana nutida begrepp är att förvanska historien.
Var de antika grekerna således en hel hög rasister då de kallade främlingar för barbarer? Kan vi inte skippa sådant tråk?

Jag måste bara påpeka att enligt förordet är boken baserad på en papyrus som hittades den 29 februari <i>1983</i> (inte 1984!) - alltså på skottdagen ett år som inte var skottår... Så även utan historiekunskaper kan man tidigt i boken misstänka att det inte är en sann skildring.

Boken är utan tvekan rolig, men jag började ju undra hur pass full/senil Alf var när han skrev den då de började blanda in Camelot. Kan inte tillräckligt om de gamla grekerna för att fatta innan. ;)
