Det är i för övrigt denna sägen som också Oden får sitt berömda spjut Gugner och Tor får Mjölner i sin hand.

Lite gammal tråd, kanske död men jag tänkte liva upp den. Sagorna är mycket intressanta och roliga, och har nog även en betydelse i form av moraliska poänger tex.

Där finns sagor av alla de slag.
Samma författare har gett ut <i>Sveriges sägner</i>, om du är intresserad även av denna genre. En annan bra sägensamling är <i>Svenska folksägner </i>av Bengt af Klintberg. Även Jan-Öjvind Swahn har tagit sitt ansvar som folklivsforskare och gett ut en serie med sagoböcker.
Det finns förresten ett sagomuseum i Ljungby (Småland), som varje år håller en berättarfestvial. Titta in på www.sagobygden.se
