Hednaromantik åsido [:p] så verkar det, vad jag läst mig till, som att huvudbonad som tecken på "vuxenhet" och värdighet inte är något som enbart förknippas med kristendomen, och mer eller mindre strikta kulturella klädkoder fanns naturligtvis tidigare också.

Någon som har lite mer koll - är det vanligare med avbildningar av just barhuvade kvinnor från tidigare vikingatid, vendeltid och längre tillbaka i Norden än senare?

Jag håller med om att det helt klart förekommer en del barhuvade personer i kyrkokonsten, men de är väl i klar minoritet?

Tycker de allra flesta även där bär huvudbonad?
