- Jag söker alla tänkbara källor till rakknivar av sen 1300-talsmodell.
- Känner någon till en hantverkare som kan tillverka/tillverkar rakknivar av ovan nämnt snitt (ha ha...)?
- Jag väntar för närvarande på att en vän ska skicka en bild på en barberare i full fart. Bilden är från 1400-talet, och ska visa rakkniven tydligt. Jag lägger upp den så fort jag får den.
- I Lödöseboken finns en bild på skaftet till något som förmodas ha varit en rakkniv. Det är ganska kort, bär spår av fällknivskonstruktion och är kanske dubbelt så brett som ett vanligt skaft. Det kanske kan vara något?

Kniven är en ganska smal tingest, inte alls olik en stilett med samma smala blad.

En präst förklarar för honom varför Gud är arg på honom. "Trots att du är en lekman och därför aldrig skall vara rakad, har du brutit mot den gudomliga lagen och rakat dig som en präst (clericus)" Adelsmannen lovar att aldrig raka sig igen och när rättegången åter tas upp blir han frikänd. Snart glömde han emellertid sitt löfte och började åter raka sig. Han betalade ett högt pris för detta återfall, då han togs till fånga av sina fiender och gjordes blind.

Jag kan ha publicerat denna historia tidigare under en annan tråd, i sådana fall får ni förlåta mig.

Jag har de senaste 2-3 dagarna letat efter detta men än så länge kammat noll, tyvärr. Den enda referens jag har kunnat hitta till en bild gällde bilden av en skrivare, som använde en rakkniv för att "sudda" felskriverier på pergamentet. Dessvärre fanns inte bilden inlagd på sidan och som sagt, jag har inte lyckats skrämma upp vare sig den eller någon annan heller.
