Jag har precis snart läst färdigt en hundrapoängs kurs projektarbete som jag har ägnat åt medeltida klädsömnad (gymnasie, så det är ju inte så att vi får lära oss saker...), och det slog mig igår att det väldigt sällan pratas om hur dräkterna är konstruerade.
Min stora fundering kring detta är när man började med den lilla kullen på ärmen istället för de gamla diverse sätten. (kil i ärmhålan och liknande) Jag har tittat på några fynd från Herjolfsnes, och sett exempel på det gamla sättet på några ställen, men aldrig riktigt hittat något om när man börjar med kullen.
