I Londonfynden så finns det några strumpeband, i textil. Har vi några andra fynd någon annanstans ifrån?
Årtal mellan 10-15 är intressanta.

Kan du inte berätta mer om London-fynden som du refererar till? Har du nån rolig länk? Jag har själv ett par "knästrumpor" i behov av band....

I boken "textiles and clothing" som handlar om just utgrävningarna (medeltid) i London finns det några vävda strumpeband.
Boken är utlånad just nu så jag kan inte lägga upp bilder.

Ofta pratas det om flätade band som just strumpeband då dessa får mer flex än ett stumt vävt band. I folkdräktssammanhang så används detta men finns det några fynd eller källor som bekräftar att det existerar på exempelvis 1300-talet?

Det är inte strumpeband, men det är en fin bild. Kanske visar den strumpebandens föregångare.
