Gycklarkonsten

Tja, jag ville egentlig ställa frågan om nån kunde hjälpa mig lite. Om ni inte vet så kanske ni vet några källor.

Jag ska nämligen föbereda ett tal i svenskan, och jag tänkte prata om hur gyclarkonsten har utveklats genom tiderna. Status, redskap, you name it.

Gycklare har diskuterats tidigare på forumet. Då gällde det främst dräkter men de litteraturtips som finns där kanske kan leda vidare till något? Tråden finns [url="http://www.historiska.se/histvarld/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=696"]här[/url].

Den enda vettiga bok jag kunnat snoka upp annars är "Fools are everywhere : the court jester around the world" av Beatrice K. Otto. Den finns på universitetsbiblioteken i Umeå, Göteborg och Stockholm samt på KB.
Det lilla jag kunnat hitta om boken är som följer:
"A rather unique book that studies the nature and role of jesters across many different periods and in different parts of the world. Redressing the over-whelming concentration on jesters in European courts, Beatrice Otto looks further afield to the courts of ancient China, the Mogul Emperors of India, Africa, the Middle East and the Americas, as well as medieval Europe.
